Is dependency on VS2012 introduced in Aug release a problem?

Aug 29, 2012 at 6:48 PM

Since updating to the August release of the extensions, I now get an error dialog and see this message in the output window of Visual Studio 2010:

Summary: There were 0 failures, 1 errors and 0 warnings loading custom activities and services.

Error: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Build.Client, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Can this error safely be ignored for now?

Are you using the VS2010 assemblies? Which assembly / activity reports this error?

I am using the VS2010 assemblies.  I have a feeling that this was just caused by the known 2012 dependency issue in the Azure assembly, but I wasn't using it, so I just removed it.
