Not able to get any StyleCop logs (Logfile / XmlOutputFile)

Hello Community,

i am currently trying to integrate the StyleCop community extension for stylecop to out build process and everything works like a charm with one exception.

I am not able to create any log files within the StyleCop activity and now i hope that anyone can help me.

I have actually following configuration for my activity:

// Activity Param Logfile
String.Format("{0}\StyleCop.log", logFileDropLocation)

// Activity Param XmlOutputFile
String.Format("{0}\StyleCop.xml", logFileDropLocation)

As additional info:
I have used the StyleCop example configuration from the documentation here but changed the bits a little bit because of a large project versus a tiny build hardware configuration and resulting out of memory exceptions. So I added:

  1. FindMatchingFiles (*.csproj)
  2. ForEach (*.csproj)
  3. GetProject Folder for *.csproj
  4. FindMatchingFiles (*.cs within ProjectFolder)
  5. Execute StyleCop for all *.cs within Projectfolder

Everything (including my changes from the documentation workflow) works fine but i am absolutely not able to get any log files at all.

Any hints, ideas or additional informations needed?

Problem solved.

After removing the ForEach and upgrading the hardware, the log files will be written as expected.
