How to terminate a build from Powershell script ?

Apr 15, 2014 at 9:31 AM
I am using a powershell script to run some post-build steps with some legacy system compilation steps. I am using the Tfs 2013 build template which has the standard powershell capabilities.

In case of an unhandled exception the build gets the status "Partial Succeeded". That is not exactly what I want. I want the status of the build to be Failed if the powershell throws an exception.

Question: is this possible without customizing the standard build template?

I think you'd need to edit the tempalte.
